What is DNS NVDomain?

Bulletin: 010507-1

Software Effected:
DNSReset

Issue:
What is DNS NVDomain?

Solution:
When a DNS suffix of example Root.com is assigned to a computer, a Key entry is created in the Registry as an entry called NVDomain that Windows concatenates to the host name (NVHost) to get a Fully Qualified DNS Name (FQDN), such as RootDC.Root.com
